I am very thankful to the Government of India, the Government of Uttar Pradesh, and the Uplift Live Foundation for the support they provided during the most difficult time of our lives. My name is Raghuveer, a 52-year-old farmer from Arera, Uttar Pradesh. A few months ago, I was diagnosed with a serious medical condition that required immediate surgery. My family was devastated—not just because of my health, but also because we didn’t know how we would afford the treatment. That’s when the Uplift Live Foundation contacted us through their awareness campaign. They informed us about the Ayushman Card and helped us apply for it. Thanks to this support, I was admitted to Kale Babu Hospital, where I underwent critical surgery, including a radical esophagectomy, gastric conduit, and feeding jejunostomy. This treatment would not have been possible without the Ayushman Bharat scheme. It saved my life and also spared my family from a huge financial crisis.
