Introduction

Uplift Live Foundation is dedicated to enhancing lives and benefiting society by uplifting every individual. Students have the opportunity to engage in community-based projects and play a meaningful role in the Foundation’s mission through internships focused on sustainable development initiatives that address the needs of the underprivileged. Interns will gain hands-on experience in the field, build valuable connections, and gain insights into the challenges faced by economically and socially disadvantaged communities.

Selection Process

Guidelines for Uplift Internship

Internship Duration and Academic Credentials
  • The duration of the internship will be of 2 months. It will give participants plenty of opportunity to get hands-on experience and fully immerse themselves in projects.

  • Any individual who have interest in serving the social sector can apply for this internship. A bachelors degree is recommended.

  • If the internship is completed satisfactorily, a letter of recommendation will be provided.

Guidelines for Students: Health, Safety, and Welfare
  • Health and safety will be given top priority, with policies in place to guarantee that interns are safeguarded during field trips and contacts with communities.

  • When working in the field or in sensitive locations, interns will get proper training and lessons on safety procedures before entering the field.

  • Interns’ well-being is given first importance, and they have access to guidance, assistance, and counselling when needed throughout their internship.

Complete and submit the online application form with your academic details, area of interest, and a brief statement of purpose explaining your motivation to intern with us.

Application Review
Our program team reviews applications on a rolling basis, assessing candidates on the basis of academic background, alignment with our mission, and expressed commitment to social development.

Shortlisting & Interview
Shortlisted candidates are contacted for a brief orientation interview to understand their goals and match them to the most suitable internship track and program area.

Onboarding & Commencement
Selected interns receive a comprehensive onboarding kit, safety briefing, and are formally assigned to their project track for the 2-month internship engagement.

Duration & Academic Credentials

  • Internship duration is 2 months, providing ample opportunity for deep immersion in projects and community engagement.
  • Open to any individual passionate about the social sector. A bachelor's degree is recommended but not a barrier to entry.
  • A letter of recommendation is issued upon satisfactory and complete fulfilment of the internship.
