“Being diagnosed with a bilateral ovarian mass was terrifying, not just for me, but for my entire family. I was admitted to a small hospital in our village on March 19th, 2025, and the doctors said I needed surgery right away. As the only earning member supporting my parents and siblings, and with my younger brother working as a farm labourer, we simply couldn’t imagine how we’d pay for the treatment.

​In the middle of this crisis, we heard about the Ayushman Bharat scheme from the Uplift Live Foundation’s awareness campaign in our village. That moment changed everything for us. We applied for the Ayushman Card, and to our immense relief, the scheme covered the full cost of my surgery. On March 24th, I was discharged, healthy and full of hope again.

​This wasn’t just a medical treatment; it was a lifeline. I truly believe that without this scheme and the awareness created by Uplift Live Foundation, I wouldn’t be here today, smiling and planning for the future.
