Objective of the Training

The primary aim of this two-day training was to equip rural women with the necessary skills, knowledge, and confidence to turn their traditional pickle-making expertise into a sustainable source of income. The focus was on improving product quality, branding, packaging, and entrepreneurial knowledge to help them access wider markets and increase profitability.

Day 1: Skill Building & Foundation Training

 

Session 1: Introduction & Icebreaking

  • Welcome and orientation.

  • Ice-breaking session to build rapport among participants.

 

Session 2: Basics of Pickle Making

  • Discussion on hygiene, ingredient selection, and preservation techniques.

  • Importance of maintaining consistent quality.

Plans are also underway to replicate this model in other regions to reach more women with similar potential.
