Guidelines for Uplift Internship

Internship Duration and Academic Credentials

Interns will work toward precise, well-defined goals that complement ongoing initiatives in fields including governance, livelihood improvement, Financial Inclusion, Digital Literacy & Cyber Security and social protection. The internship will have quantifiable objectives that support the organization's overarching aims, along with frequent progress reports.

  • To familiarize interns with the goals, framework, and ongoing initiatives of the organization, a pre-internship orientation will be conducted.

  • To ensure clarity and focus throughout the internship, a comprehensive plan describing the intern's duties, responsibilities, and learning objectives will be prepared.

It is mandatory for interns to keep a daily log recording their observations, contributions, and activities. This is a tool for introspection and evaluation of oneself. In order to evaluate the intern's progress and provide guidance when needed, supervisors will also use the daily log at feedback meetings.

At the conclusion of the internship, an in-depth report that summarizes the intern's work, achievement, and learning experiences must be sent in. The impact of the intern's contributions to the projects they worked on as well as any suggestions for future enhancements should be highlighted in the report.
